2 Fun-Filled Summer Activities in Colorado
Posted on Aug 10, 2017Colorado is a wonderful place to be year-round. But summer is a time with so many activities to enjoy throughout the state and beautiful weather to boot. At Team Lassen, we are all about out clients and our team taking advantage of all the great things a summer in Colorado has to offer. Here are two of our favorites.
The Colorado Renaissance Festival is a returning festival each year located in Larkspur, Colorado. People travel every weekend during the summer from all over the state to step into the past and partake in great food, entertainment, shopping, and activities. The event has all sorts of variety acts like acrobats, jousting, and comedy troupes. Eating a turkey leg, riding an elephant, and getting your picture taken with a fairy are just a few things you can do at the festival. Each weekend has a different theme like Pirate Weekend and Wine Revelry.
Lake Dillon is a breathtaking spot in the Rocky Mountains that is only a few hours away from Denver. It is located right off of I-70 so it is easy to access and has tons to do. You can rent paddleboards, kayaks, ride or jog the trails surrounding the lake, go horseback riding, take a Jeep tour, and so much more. Lake Dillion is located right across the interstate from the Outlets at Silverthorne so there is great shopping close by as well.
Going to the Renaissance Festival and enjoying the great outdoors at Lake Dillon are just a few things we recommend at Team Lassen. For more information about available Colorado real estate contact us today.
