3 Reasons Why Colorado Loves Their Sports Teams
Posted on Feb 24, 2016Sports. There are some states who are totally into supporting their teams, and Colorado is one of them. It's just another thing that makes The Centennial State a great place to live. There are 3 main reasons why Colorado loves their sports teams.
- Every month of the year, there's one to cheer for. Denver Broncos football, Denver Nuggets basketball, Colorado Rockies baseball, Colorado Avalanche hockey and Colorado Rapids soccer make up a well-rounded athletic offering so fans can always find a game to attend. And that doesn't even include the smaller professional teams that can be found around the state.
- Colorado residents are all about being active. We're not the type of people to sit around on the couch watching reality television. Sure, once in a while we catch the latest show, but for the most part, we like to be out and about, and part of the action. Sometimes that means skiing at the resorts, or hiking and biking on the trails, but other times it's fun to sit back, watch others and cheer.
- We're loyal. It's one of the great qualities of people in Colorado. We're not fair weather fans. Whether we're in the playoffs, or at the bottom of the standings, we'll all still be wearing our fan gear, watching the games, and cheering for our team.
And that loyalty extends beyond sports too. Friends and neighbors stick together, and many of the small communities become like a second family.
If you're a sports fan, Colorado is a great place to cheer for the home team. You'll find yourself with plenty of friends who share your love, and you won't have to look far to find a game just about every week of the year. To find out more information about living in Colorado, contact us.
