Team Lassen Reflects On 2020
Posted on Nov 12, 20202020 has been quite the year and although it's not quite time to celebrate ushering in 2021, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the times we've had. There's been a lot of good to come from such an unprecedented year. We've been able to celebrate accomplishments with our coworkers and clients with our Top Golf Soiree (even if it was technically in 2019) as well as supporting our local community through sponsorships.
We had a blast sponsoring the 1st Annual Cuda Open at Top Golf benefiting the Front Range Barracudas Swim Team! These amazing kiddos are learning valuable skills from their excellent coaches and we're grateful we got the opportunity to help.
We couldn't leave out one of the most impactful memories of this year. Logan Moore, son of Team Lassen owner Sarah Lassen and Tim Moore, is a cancer survivor. Logan was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive lung tumor when he was just 3 ½ years old. His doctors said he had a 30% chance of surviving. Thanks to the phenomenal response of Children’s Hospital’s doctors in Colorado and Minnesota, Logan is alive and thriving today!
Logan was chosen to be an Ambassador for Children's Hospital because of his journey surviving cancer. As an ambassador, Logan reached out to the community over the radio, on multiple news stations, at golf tournaments, groundbreaking ceremonies, and even as a Jr. Reporter for the Denver Broncos!
It's been a time of contemplation and gratitude and we just wanted to take a moment to share it with you all.
